Jonah Chilton (he/him)
Corn-fed and Kansas-bred, Jonah Chilton picked up the fiddle at the age of six and hasn’t put it down since. In 2011, he won the Kansas State Fiddle and Picking Championship, earning bragging rights and a plaque his mom still dusts. He cut his teeth in the NYC-based band Tacoma Narrows, touring up and down both coasts before heading to the mountain west. Since moving to Colorado in 2019, Jonah has been blowing the minds of buzzed brewery patrons with a variety of local bands. He’s got one foot in old-time tradition and the other in hard-driving mashgrass. With boyish good looks and perfectly timed jokes, some say Jonah was the personality hire for Ms. W’s Flower Hour.

Alex Koukov (they/them)
Are you adrift on a rhythmless sea of bluegrass? Alex is your anchor. With a right hand like a metronome and relentless momentum, they will take you on a steam-powered banjo journey complete with heavy downbeats, ample rakes, and only the tastiest JD tele licks. Alex first picked up a banjo on a whim at age 16 but quickly realized they had stumbled into a lifelong obsession with groove, resonance, and “pile driving the five”. What started as blind curiosity turned into festivals, gigs, and late jam-filled nights. You might say they saw the light in the tunnel, and it was a bluegrass locomotive. Brace for impact from a five-string broadside. Alex is first officer of drive in Ms. W’s Flower Hour, the five-piece bluegrass ensemble known for floral finesse.

Dave Pailet (he/him)
No ‘boom’ is complete without a ‘chuck’, and Dave delivers right in time. Winner of the 2025 Rockygrass Mandolin Contest, he is a consummate instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter. Raised in the Denver metro area, he discovered traditional bluegrass through Yonder Mountain Stringband, String Cheese Incident, and, of course, The Grateful Dead. He might know Rider, but he also knows Bill, Ralph, Doc, Tony, and Dan. From the original to the modern and everything in between, Dave’s got it covered. Oh, did we mention he also won the Rockygrass Dobro Contest in 2018? Yeah, he plays ‘em all. Maybe the Flower Hour should add horns…

Michael Rudolph (he/him)
Michael Rudolph was born into bluegrass, old time, and traditional American music. Son of a multi-instrumentalist mother, Michael was playing spoons to fiddle tunes as early as four years old. At nine, he started upright bass, standing on a stool to reach the strings. His musical journey has since taken him to all corners of his home state, Colorado, some years in the Pacific Northwest, and, in 2024, to the Asian subcontinent on tour through northern India. He is quick to remind you of the times he has jammed with Molly Tuttle, AJ Lee, Tyler Grant, and that one time he saw Sam Bush backstage from like 20 feet away. Beyond music, Michael is trained as a family physician and practices in the Denver area. Turn up your subs and take in the Flower Hour’s low end!

Bryan Dubrow (he/him)
Bryan Dubrow’s guitar playing began at the age of nine when he first grabbed his dads Gibson SG and was told “wait, play this other one instead.” Since then his path - both musically and geographically - has wound far and wide. Originally from Maryland, he spent a decade based in Miami, FL, and currently lives in Colorado. Over the years music has taken Bryan around the US, as well as to Mexico and Germany, where he’s played on festival stages, the brewery down the street, and just about everything in between.
Since moving to Colorado in 2022 Bryan has gained recognition in the local bluegrass and acoustic music scene playing with a variety of projects; ranging from the genre bending trio Salomé Songbird to the hard-driving traditional bluegrass of Ms. W’s Flower Hour. Bryan’s ear for innovation and passion for tradition are on full display with Ms. W’s Flower Hour!
